So tired.....

Bob has been working ridiculous hours, and this is a great example of how he feels.......Eleanor is always willing to cuddle up with Mom or Dad for a nap.

The Dress

Eleanor has received so many wonderful gifts to celebrate her entrance into this world. Cindy Sager, my second mother, made this dress and bonnet for Eleanor. The pictures are in reverse order, as you can probably imagine. She didn't love the bonnet:)

First Sunday visiting the nursery

We recently joined Canterbury Methodist Church, and Eleanor visited the church nursery for the first time last Sunday. She was just getting too loud for the service. Bob and I will begin teaching 1st grade Sunday School in a few Sundays. Should be interesting!!!!

Ok, so I have not been so good with this blog thing.  But I am going to get better!  Bob bought me a Mac for my birthday, so I have no excuses!!!!

On to what's important....Eleanor!!!!  What a cute baby, who is quite fussy.  It's hard to imagine how much you will love your child before she arrives.  Now we understand.  Live has changed drastically.  No more Blue Monkey jokes from my husband.  All we want to do is sleep on the weekends, and of course hang out with our new daughter.  We are a happy family.

Our first blog......

Hello Friends and Family,

Welcome to our attempt to keep all of you in the loop!!!! It has been a crazy 2008 for Bob and I, and we want to let all of you in on our exciting 2009. We moved from Jacksonville, FL, to Birmingham, AL, in October 2008 and have enjoyed our time here so far. Bob began working immediately upon our arrival, and has been going non-stop since. I had 2 weeks off in the beginning, which I spent laying on the couch. Turns out, my body has been busy creating a BABY!!!! We are 14 weeks pregnant and are so very excited about the arrival of Baby Dabal in May 2009.

I will try to keep this updated as much as possible, but I am making no promises. We are living in an apartment and half of our stuff is still in Jacksonville (including my printer/scanner). To sum it up, our lives are rather unorganized, but we manage to make it just fine with the necessities.

We both love you all and miss you dearly.
